Fried Chicken

Today I've posted some real yummy Fried Chicken video recipes. As you will see, there are many ways to prepare fried chicken. Some recipes call for flour, while others call for cornmeal. Some will have you marinate the chicken for several hours and some have no marinating at all. Should you use oil or shortening. Do I fry or bake? Contrary to popular belief, you can bake a chicken and still get that fried crisp skin. Baking is actually a much healthier alternative to frying, as I'm sure most of you already know.

All of the recipes are relatively easy to prepare. I will always strive to find you the best and most efficient recipes that are available. Some of the ingredients for the recipes below are; flour; chicken, eggs, flour, ,milk, buttermilk, salt, pepper and an array of spices. I tried to provide some healthy fried chicken recipes as well, one is a baked fried chicken and the other is a Atkin's diet low carb fried chicken.

I hope you all enjoy, happy cooking.

An Indian Dinner

One of my all time favorite cuisines is Indian food. The wonderful array of spices just tantalizes the tongue. Since India is a very large country with many regions and cities there are many, many different types of dishes to choose from. Some of the more popular categories are Northern, Southern and Western. Vegetarianism is also commonly practiced in India. Here are some popular dishes that you might know:

North India
North Indian cuisine tends to use more dairy based products such as paneer and most yogurt dishes, Tandoori chicken or fish and Samosas.

South India
South India has a greater focus on rice and vegetarian dishes. There also is a lot of emphasis on curry leaves and coconut.

Western
Indian cuisine has been popular in England for a long time. Chicken Tikka Masala has come from this area.

Below I've included some videos of some dishes that look delicious.
